Abstract
The article examines the adsorption properties of natural Beltau bentonite on cationic (methylene blue) and anionic (methyl orange) dyes. Adsorption was determined by the photometric method under static conditions. Adsorption equilibrium was established within 4-5 hours. It was established that the sorption efficiency of MK dye is 98%, and for MO - 85%. The stepwise nature of the isotherms confirmed the polymolecular adsorption. The obtained results show that Beltau bentonite can be used to purify wastewater from dyes
