This article analyzes effective educational methods in teaching computer science to engineering students. The importance of interactive, project-based, and problem-based learning approaches is highlighted. Additionally, the possibilities of increasing educational efficiency through the integration of methods are substantiated. As a result, ways to prepare students as competitive specialists with practical skills are shown
