Abstract
The relevance is due to the contradiction between the digital transformation of the oil and gas industry and the lack of reliable tools for competency assessment in corporate training. The subject is the technology for the stage-by-stage formation and diagnostics of competencies of Grade 1 specialists. The methodology is based on the integration of the competency-based approach and P.Ya. Galperin's theory of the stage-by-stage formation of mental actions. The experiment (involving 50 specialists from JSC "Uzbekneftegaz", using an author's diagnostic complex of 100 tasks) showed that the integral indicator of professional competence in the experimental group increased by 21.3 percentage points (p < 0.001), with the greatest dynamics observed in metacompetencies (analytical thinking, communication, process management). The reliability of the tools was confirmed (Cronbach's α = 0.94). The results prove the effectiveness of the technology for personalizing and improving the efficiency of corporate training
