The article is devoted to the introduction of the axiological approach and the case study method in teaching the subject “Upbringing” (“Tarbiya”). The author substantiates the transition to active assimilation of values, taking into account the national- territorial component of Karakalpakstan. The work analyzes the results of case testing, the change in the role of the teacher to the facilitator, and systemic obstacles in the implementation of the methodology.
